Thanks to all who have looked at my work and favourited my art over the past few months. I was finishing up my third - and final - year in University (college if you're from the US), studying my Undergrad degree. I scored a first class honours, whoop whoop!
Anyway. I'm now staying on in Uni to study a Master's degree, and have been enjoying what is officially the longest summer vacation of my life ^_^
And I've been teaching myself 3d rendering. Which, considering I've spent less than a week on it so far, is going pretty well. I've mastered Daz3d pretty well now (have the latest version of Daz Studio....AWESOME software), and am slowly amassing some background scenes to use in the renderings. Once I get some more props and backgrounds, you should start to see some slowly appearing on here.
Of course, I knew right away what I wanted to model - 3d people. And, for my money, the absolute best modellers are Sarsa and Thorne. So there will definitely be considerable use of their excellent models once I buy all the stuff I need! (It's a slow process, but great because I'm learning as I go).
I figured that since I've pretty well mastered Photoshop now (see my Flickr account for this!), that I really wanted to turn my hand to 3d art.
Results coming soon.
